Merry New Year

by Kerry Taylor

Hey Hey 212ers!

As Sean and I always say around this time of year, Merry New Year!! Happy 2023!! I hope all of you have a great outlook for yourselves in 2023. Remember, to get where you want to be it starts in your head, so make sure your mind is in the right place to achieve more and new successes, big or small in 2023!!

When I sit back and think about this past years journey, it seems to have flew by, but there are a few things that stand out.

Declan started to learn how to tackle, LOL, getting his hair cut like a big boy and working out! Adrionna started to take up soccer again, had amazing softball season and capped her season off with the teams Most Improved award! They are still growing like weeds, lol. I look forward to the day when we get to have our workout sessions together. #teamtaylor

I fulfilled a dream of mine of being a presenter for Perform Better, a local equipment company that is very well known for putting on many events to educate trainers around the world. When I discovered this organization almost 20 years ago looking to buy new equipment, it opened my eyes more into our industry and made me want to dive deeper to learn more about my craft. What made this moment even sweeter for me is that I was able to have my team along side me. Thank you gang for all carving out time to be there.

We teamed up with Avenue N Restaurant group and JLV consulting to put on our very first Ru”N”ford 5K. It was a 3.1 mile run around the Rumford Community. Our goal, to enrich and enhance our community’s engagement with each other.

Members of the 212 team were married and one celebrated their first anniversary together!

Our 212 community coming together to make sure that other families can have a great Christ-mas. The giving tree was packed with gifts, it took two full car loads to transport it all. The faces of those that we were dropping the gifts off to were of disbelief that they came from just one small gym! So thank you guys for answering the call in true 212 fashion!

We had a new family member join the team at 212! As many of you may have noticed now, he is full of energy and positivity! If you haven’t had an opportunity to meet Scott or work with him yet, make sure you do. You will feel great afterwards!

Another favorite is to be able to say, we had some returning faces and also some new faces join the family. I love being able to say that because when new people become a part of your family, you know you built a level of trust and belief in you to take them on their journey. When a familiar face calls or walks back through our doors, it’s always great to pick up where we left off and find out what’s been going on in their lives since we last saw each other. Thank you all for believing in us and allowing us to be a part of your lives!

In life things can always be better, BUT they can always be worse. When I flip the pages of 2022 in my mind, it definitely had it’s shares of ups and downs but overall it was a pretty decent year. It was definitely one to build, grow and learn from. So here is to 2023, cheers!! As al-ways continue to live life one degree love the rest. Thank you all for being a part of this past years journey!!
