Hey! Hey! I’m back with another look into what an aspiring NFL player goes through on his journey to live his sports dream. When I last left you, I just arrived back in New England to play for the hometown team.
Here are a couple more ab drills for you all to try out! Allow me first to preface that they do come with prerequisite and I did NOT invent them so don’t shoot the messenger here.
Me: “So tell me what your daily life is like.” Client: “Well, I get up early to get ready for work. And I’m off.” Me: “Okay, what do you do for work?” Client: “I’m in sales.”
If you did something 20,000 times a day for years on end, you’d think you’d be pretty good at it. But what if I told you that, despite millions of repetitions a year, you’re actually pretty lousy at this activity, especially during exercise?
In a previous blog I mentioned to you that, “Yes, even I struggle." I also mentioned it’s okay to struggle as long as you’re working towards being better and not allowing yourself to continue to struggle in the future.
Me: “I’ve had better days, but I’m doing good.” Person: “What time is your flight home?” Me: “3:30 this afternoon, I should land around 7 tonight at Logan.”
So up to now you have been able to have an inside look at what an aspiring NFL football player goes through. My own personal "Hard Knocks," so to speak.
