My fitness journey started in 2009. My lifestyle was always healthy although I never had the body I dreamed of. I saw a photo of a girl who lifts and I decided, "I want to look like that."
I joined 212 Health and Performance and never let anything get in my way of my fitness goals. Once I started to achieve things I never thought were possible, I started to trust the process and have faith in myself. I decided to take my fitness to the next level and I starting competing in fitness shows with the WBFF. Competing is one of the most challenging sports out there, not only physically but mentally. You learn so much about yourself throughout that 4 month long process, pushing you body and mind to limits you never thought we're possible. The sense of accomplishment and gratitude you gain from it makes all the sacrifices worth it.
Whether I'm in training for a show or I'm working on new fitness goals during my off season, one of the things I love about being a member at 212 is they always keep me motivated and make sure I'm pushing myself hard enough to help me reach my goals. Fitness isn't about being better that anybody else, it's about being the best version of yourself. The truth is, you are the one with all the power to shape your life into one you love. Never give up on a goal because of the time it will take to achieve it. What the mind believes, the body achieves!
